The Summer Poo 2012 Video is finally here!!  Check out all the highlights from the awesome day we had together.   Highlights from the day include: Icy Ice with a mouth full of wings, Cheapshot in boy shorts and Hyphy Crunk stuck in a corner!  Shout out to all the competitors of both teams who put up a great fight: Icy Ice, Butch, Wrex, Ingwell, Xist, Barry Goods, Nu and Source.  Can’t wait for the next Pooperbowl to see who dominates and comes out on top.  Stay tuned!

We  caught up with the Lobos truck who will be helping us out with Summer Poo.  Get a sneak peak at what they’ll be serving this Sunday!!

Fire Poo:  With so many food trucks in Los Angeles now, how does the Lobos Truck set itself apart from the pack?

Lobos Truck:  We are one of many food trucks in Los Angeles for sure but we keep it fun with seasonal specials and creativity. We only use the best meats,fresh bread, produce & we make everything from scratch. Quality+innovation= awesome.

Fire Poo:  Your tagline says that the Lobos Truck is kick ass comfort food with conscience.  What’s the trick to making comfort food not so terribly bad for you in a health sense?

Lobos Truck:  The “conscience” comes in to play with our use of local, organic & high quality products. So many people don’t even know what comfort food is so we explain that a lot! Lol

Fire Poo:  How do your wings compare with standard buffalo wings?  Can you give us a preview of the flavors??

Lobos Truck:  My wings were designed by me for my husband. He LOVES wings. I bread my wings in 10 spices, they sit in the dredge for 24 hours then they are fried and tossed in either our angel, diablo or bbq sauce. I am working on a spicier sauce too. We finish them with scallion and bleu cheese or ranch! When you bite in its flavor, crunch, moist chicken then heat or sweet depending on the sauce. They are delicious!! And if you don’t like bones we can do just fried breast.

Fire Poo:  The segment on the Carson Daily’s radio show was really interesting and must have been great promotion for your truck.  How did you manage to put that together and did it increase sales?

Lobos Truck:  Carson Daily was amazing. We got lots of followers that morning. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to run a food truck. It’s hours of booking and marketing. Once you establish a fan base it’s easier to book & such. We are in our 4th month right now and have almost 600 followers. We also have folks who love our flavor profile so much they eat at the truck 3-4 times a week. We hope to have 1000 followers this month. Hopefully your readers will go in twitter & follow us!
