We got a chance to catch up with the Legendary DJ Mighty Mi of High and Mighty. He’s currently the Music Director and Resident DJ at Wynn and Encore venues.
Fire Poo: You’re from New York City. How was the transition from New York to Vegas for you?
Mighty Mi: I’m actually from Philly but lived in NY for 13 years after college. There was a lot of culture shock moving from NY to Vegas but professionally it was something I had to do at the time.
We got a chance to catch up with long time supporter of Fire Poo, Michael Olortegui. He’s our man inside the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and got us a nice spot to host Vegas Poo. Great guy and DJ Echo’s big brother!
Fire Poo: Why does the Hard Rock Hotel support Fire Poo?
Michael Olortegui: Since the beginning Hard Rock has put on and supported some of the best DJ’s that have ever been in the game. It only makes sense to have a DJ event like Fire Poo at the Hard Rock, the home of music, Las Vegas NV. [click to continue…]
These bad boys just got shipped to us last night! The Knyew Fire Poo Poker Chips will be given out at the Vegas Poo. So DJs, be sure to get there early to pick up one of these limited edition pieces! Big shout out to DJ Crooked, DJ Neva and the whole KNYew Crew!
We also wanted to thank those who contributed to Holiday Poo last night to make it such a great event. Shout out to DJ Moded for all his help. Big ups to Fresh Focus of DJ City for the amazing pictures. Finally, thanks to our sponsors Aerial7 and Fydelity for all the cool swag they supplied!
We got a chance to catch up with long time and long distance supporter of Fire Poo, DJ Supersede. He hails from Miami and came all the way out to LA for last year’s Holiday Poo. We just learned that he’ll be making the trip out again to celebrate with us.
Fire Poo: Aside from stalking DJ Cheapshot in your early voyeuristic days, how did you learn about Fire Poo?
We got a chance to catch up with Nam Tran, DJ Team Manager (and World’s #1 ranked ping pong player) of Aerial 7 Headphones and Bruce Lee Stunt Double, to see what was going on in his world and explain his involvement in Fire Poo. He’s really been integral in making the partnership between Aerial 7 and Fire Poo happen, as you can see from the amazing Holiday Poo ornaments they sponsored for us.
Fire Poo: What makes a pair of Aerial 7 headphones better than the ones I just bought from Chinatown?
Nam: Our DJ team ate 60 wings in 2 minutes and 17 seconds and we didn’t even wear fancy uniforms like our competition. Also the headphones from Chinatown are laced with bird flu. [click to continue…]
It’s only right that we toot the horn of our very gracious supporter Aerial 7. They have supported the Fire Poo movement from the very early developmental stages. Their donations are going to a wonderful cause. Holiday Poo, which has been scheduled for December 18th, 2011, will be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, gathering of DJs for the Holiday Season. DJ Cheapshot just got a pretty little package on his doorstep
Check out the latest Vevo Spot featuring the Fire Poo creator himself, DJ Cheapshot! He plays host as DJ Tina T and DJ Spider do their thing cutting on the turntables!
Caught up with the big homie and co-host of Fire Poo PDX, DJ Nature. Learn more about him and what he had to say about Fire Poo…
Fire Poo: When did you stop riding with the Hells Angels and decide to become a DJ?
Nature: I gave up the Hells Angels when they decided training wheels weren’t hard, but I’m still very active in the PDX Volvo posses. I’ve been molesting turntables as well since about 2001-2002
We got a chance to catch up with Benjamin Cutswell, the Co-Host of this weekend’s Fire Poo in Phoenix. Here’s what he had to say about Fire Poo…
Fire Poo: Aside from subscribing to Cheapshot’s anal-webcam how did you first learn about Fire Poo?
Cutswell: I don’t remember, but I can tell you that I first heard about Cheapshots anal cam from DJ Rocko’s online Donkey show filmed in the back of Cruisers.
There’s more anticipation for Santa Barbara Poo than the Menudo Reunion Tour, more excitement than the day The Shady Hand was released, and more hype than opening weekend of Kazaam!
If that’s not enough to sell you on coming out this Sunday to drink booze, eat wings and talk about your favorite Blossom episode with your DJ compatriots then maybe the fact that we have a REAL flyer for the event WILL!!!! (see attached)
And if seeing a real, non-facebook flyer without a hot chick and a DJ you never heard of on it STILL isn’t enough to sell you on coming out this Sunday to drink booze, eat wings and talk about your favorite Blossom episode with your DJ compatriots then maybe the fact that we’re giving out Free Fire Poo beach balls to every disc jockey in the house will!!
And if getting a free Fire Poo beach ball isn’t enough for you to come out this Sunday to Tonic to drink booze, eat wings and talk about your favorite Blossom episode with your DJ compatriots, then just stay in your room and french your Joey Lawrence poster by yourself, you big jerk!
